I have played few of these games over the years, including the 2024 and 2025, and I do genuinely enjoy playing them at times. However, there are some issues that they just can't or don't care to fix that make the game a lot less fun. The Peloton will often accelerate at the bottom of climbs to the point that basically everyone has to use their entire attack bar to keep up, making it almost impossible to attack even with comparable riders and on the lowest difficulty. This makes winning as an underdog or even just trying to breakaway on a climb with your created rider early on completely impossible as you burn your entire bar just trying to keep up.
