The Last Warlord is a Turn-based strategy game. The game is based on the famous Chinese historical novel. The Three Kingdoms (A.D. 190 – 280) was the tripartite division of China between the states of Wei, Shu, and Wu.

What a mess of a game. The translation is an absolute MESS. I can tolerate a bad translation to a certain extent because I love the Three Kingdoms period of Ancient China and its rich character lore, but holy smokes, this tutorial is another story. Right from the beginning, after walking me through a handful of basic management screens, the game threw me into some bizarre card game involving character cards without properly explaining what the hell I was supposed to do. The other guy just kept laying down cards while I sat there thinking, “WTF am I supposed to be doing?!” If you're going to make a tutorial, isn't the entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ point to actually TEACH the player how the game works? ...
