Tl;dr: Great idea destroyed by awful balancing and enemy design. This game really SHOULD be fun, and at first it does give off that impression. Hence the surprisingly positive reviews. But once you play for longer, you start to realize the absolutely abhorrent balance and design issues of the game. Whole damage types are completely useless. Melee? Forget about it. Even with the car clearly meant for melee, you will get torn to shreds in seconds. Even with tons of melee weapons, buffs and armor, enemies will simply overwhelm you. There is way too many of them and not enough of you. So only ranged damage is of any real use. And even there, most ends up rather useless on higher difficu...
