What a joy it was to re-visit the plucky little arsonists that taught me the joy of bombs. A great collection of classic NES and SNES games with some good quality of life improvements, most notably a save state feature that is great. There's rewind too for when you inevitably make a stupid mistake. And there's a very challenging (or maybe I just suck) boss rush mode that strips away the QoL and forces you to earn those wins, just like the old days. But really, the highlight of these games was always the local multiplayer, and this delivers. It's the 1990s again, just like that.
