General: Very Positive en Steam

This just isn't it. The model is meant for static lines gradually grinding each other down while your logistical machine pushes a constant stream of reinforcements to the front, and while that might describe the Siege of Petersburg, it doesn't work as anything approaching a faithful recreation of the rest of the war. Rather than adapt their engine to civil war history they essentially seem to be forcing history to adapt to their engine. I bought it on sale, I refunded it. There are a few good ideas here and I like the naval and production systems but there's no sense of mobility, there's no real concept of command presence, no give and take of armies fighting a major battle followed...
