General: Mostly Positive en Steam

Steelrising is a mid souls game. It started out promising, but quickly became boring. Let's start with the good. Boss designs are cool, the setting is also pretty cool. Combat is slow and tactical which is a big plus for me, because I'm a DS1 fan. The story, while not amazing, is actually quite interesting and near the end of the game was the only thing that kept me playing. As for the bad: - Areas feel very same-y - 70% of the game is "French city" - Backtracking, so much backtracking - sidequests will require you to go through an old area just to grab one thing - Laughable difficulty - after the first hour or so the difficulty becomes a joke. Bosses will die to 6 charge heavies...
