I though this game was older but it came out in 2010 originally and I can mention a plethora of better platformers that came before that time. I guess as a DS game it's okay, but this port should've had plenty of more upgrades to make it worth it. The animations are good, but there's only a handful of enemies so it never truly shines other than on Shantae herself. The enemy damage goes from negligible to ridiculously strong (Skeletons) way too fast. The use of any transformation is very linear and doesn't allow you to try new things or strategies and each one is pretty useless out of its intended environment. Power-ups are a bit lackluster unless you're using the ball and why shouldn't y...
