Made in Construct2, Settled is a story driven game with hints of exploration. As you progress, subtle changes appear. Memories and nightmares act as new areas, although still remaining in the confines of the house. When you reach the end, the conclusion may not be what you expected.

Reminiscent of the atmosphere, storytelling and obvious pixellated aesthetics of [i]The Last Door[/i], it is unfortunate that it doesn't fall into a more specific and mainstream genre. [i]Settled[/i] lacks in length as a laid back 40-minute experience which isn't interactive enough as a game to be called much more than what people call a walking simulator. What excels is the execution of the narrative and the strange, eerie tale itself which would have all been marvellous to build upon as a point and click like the aforementioned horror series.
