I thoroughly enjoyed my time playing Relic Guardian and would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a charming and entertaining tower defense game, rather than something a bit more complex like Emberward. Difficulty-wise, I'd say most of the game is pretty easy. Even while playing a level for the first time on the hardest difficulty, I beat most of them on my first try, with the only outliers being a couple of levels in their challenge mode. Although, I'd like to mention that you can tweak the difficulty to your liking, as the game allows you to increase or decrease certain parameters like enemy health and damage taken.
