I first tried this game through the Steam demo last year, and even at that point, I remember genuinely feeling afraid to play it. The ambience, the way the atmosphere was constructed, the audio scoring, and especially the visual staging were all really effective. There was a strong sense of intentionality in how the game presented each scene. Although, for some reason, I have this vague memory that there was a scene in the demo that didn’t make it into the final release. I might be misremembering it, though. As for the final release, I really enjoyed the game. I especially liked the puzzle design, level design, and the way the different endings eventually tie everything together. There’...
