Negative reviews scared me away from this game for a lot of years but I thought it was worth taking a chance on it for $5 on sale - I'm glad I did. Sure, it has some janky, rough edges to it like one might expect from an indie title, but the concept is great! The fun really started after one of the early missions after hunting rabbits. I was tasked with finding the ranger's pack at an old water tower and finding a diseased elk. While that doesn't sound fun in itself, what made that mission so great was the fact that it's the first mission where you actually travel a far distance and have to put survival skills to use, making shelters, building a fire, and foraging for food along the way b...
