Neko Navy is a compact horizontal shoot 'em up that takes the familiar intensity of arcade shooters and gives it an unusually cheerful personality. Instead of piloting futuristic spacecraft or military aircraft, players control flying cats as they blast their way through increasingly strange waves of enemies. Developed by DeathMofuMofu and published by Fruitbat Factory, the game does not rely entirely on its amusing concept. Beneath the cats, colorful visuals, and surreal humor is a straightforward shooter that rewards quick reactions, careful positioning, pattern recognition, and repeated attempts to improve performance.
