Necesse is a top down sandbox game that mixes Terraria style progression with light colony management. You explore a randomly generated world, fight bosses, mine, craft, and build your own settlement with NPCs who can take care of the boring stuff for you. One of the coolest things about the game is the amount of easter eggs hidden throughout the world. There are little nods to other games like Valheim, Core Keeper, Palworld and RimWorld. I probably missed a bunch of them, but those are the ones I noticed. The progression system feels very similar to Terraria. You fight a boss, get new gear, unlock the next tier of content.
