[b]All Flesh and No Meat on Cartilaginous Skeleton.[/b] [i] a "barely" positive review [/i] Inner Chains is a bit more complicated to rate than most. The setting and biomechanical design are genuinely incredible, creating a nightmarish world that fans of Giger, Beksinski, and Clive Barker will absolutely appreciate. The environments are grotesque, surreal, and often jaw-droppingly beautiful in that particular megapolis-designed-like-a-corpse kind of way. Unfortunately, these impressive trappings ultimately serve as little more than decoration for a relatively mediocre and narratively mottled experience.
