Unfortunately, this does not capture the magic of the original Ghost Master. The game looks good and it's clearly made with some love, but everything feels too wooden. the NPCs will be scared by a ghost interaction and run into another room, then their behavior totally resets and they walk around like everything is normal until the next scary thing happens. There is no sense of rising tension in the places you're haunting, and the people you're scaring do not feel real enough for scaring them to be any fun.
