Cryptmaster is a really well put together game, it's just not for me. Perhaps it's my fault for going into this with the wrong expectations. I thought puzzles would require creative thinking, and there would be multiple solutions to go along with the "type anything" aspect of the game, but that's not the case. The vast majority of gameplay is solving riddles, which aren't for me. And unfortunately, the combat was even more so not for me. Six hours in and I realised I was pushing forward just because I was stubborn, not because I was actually having fun.
