I cannot recommend Cities: Skylines II based on the direction Paradox and Iceflake are communicating. The biggest problem is not that the game receives no updates. It does. The problem is that, after months of Iceflake being in charge, the announced direction still looks far too unambitious for a game that needs fundamental improvement. Many players come to Cities: Skylines to build beautiful, realistic, believable cities. Yet some of the systems that most directly limit that experience remain largely untouched.
