I played Asgard's Fall when it first went to early access and was pretty excited to see what they had in store for 1.0, but I dunno, it feels like the devs were tired of this game/gave up and just pushed this out. It took about the same, if not less time, to complete the 1.0 than it did early access. The reworked systems feel flat. tl;dr There's a lot of potential here in the various systems, but they don't feel complete and overall feel rushed. Not recommended in current state. It is fun for a few hours/first few stages, but the train loses steam very quickly. Enemies on each stage are very similar to other stages in both size and attack. It's a lot of rinse/repeat.
