One of the most annoying things about ARK is walking up to 5 different really good creatures, only to find out you can’t tame them because they’re locked behind DLC. If the creatures are already in the game why are they restricted like that? Then there’s the constant patching. Every time you want to play ARK, there’s some massive update or patch to download, even for small changes. The game is buggy af, so it gets even more annoying when you just want to play and have to deal with another huge update. And then there’s the whole early access + paid DLC situation. The game was released buggy and unfinished, patched for years, and they were still putting out paid DLC. A game should be fini...
